Living in Freedom Everyday.
LIFEhouse is a spiritually based organization providing safe, supportive, and affordable housing for women in recovery. The criterion will require that residents commit to at least a 3 month living obligation, but housing will be available to residents for up to two years.
While living at LIFEhouse, women will be required to work a 12- step program, and develop a relationship with a Higher Power.
The goal at LIFEhouse is to help women become self supporting and independent while at the same time developing tools necessary for long term recovery. This is the city’s only sober living home catering to women, and we are hopeful that this will promote more recovery supports in the Hamilton County area.
Amy Chaudion is the driving force behind the organization, and is also a woman in recovery. Amy is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Human Services. She is very active in the recovery community, and takes a proactive approach to help others struggling with addiction.
